The charm. The whimsy. The color. It was a garden party that jumped right out of a Shakespearean novel and into Connecticut. Ana and Liam’s joyful day at the Florence Griswold Museum was absolutely perfect, and the sudden downpour during the ceremony only seemed to make it more joyful. More whimsical. More perfect.
It was an art-inspired affair, with lush gardens and historic charm. Ana and Liam chose vibrant floral arrangements in every hue—sunny yellows, deep pinks, vivid oranges, and soft lavenders— which perfectly complimented the natural beauty of the museum’s stunning English gardens.
The ceremony began as dark clouds gathered on the horizon and as the ceremony went on under an old gnarled tree in front of the river, the rain came. It was not surprising but it was certainly memorable. The shower scattered guests as they ran to the reception tent where the ceremony continued in the soft glow of twinkle lights strung above.
Enjoy their stunning FloGris wedding and be sure to scroll to the end, because Ana’s pink reception dress was dreamy!
