A backyard wedding in Southport, CT: A sneak peek

Some weddings just feel right. They feel like laughter. They feel like joy. They feel like coming home and remind me in every way why I have the best job in the world.

It was such an honor to photograph the wedding of Fresh Flower Bar’s right hand girl. Her creativity and talent have brought beauty to so many other celebrations and now it was her turn. Watching her dream come to life in a place filled with so many memories made the day feel incredible. The flowers were, of course, unforgettable. A vibrant palette of yellow, chartreuse, and pink brought so much life and personality to every detail. From the bouquets to the tablescapes, every arrangement reflected the couple’s style and created an atmosphere of pure joy.

One of my favorite things about backyard weddings is how they encourage everyone to slow down and be present. There is something so special about celebrating in a place that already holds so much meaning. But, it wasn’t just the location that made this wedding memorable—it was the laughter, the familiar faces, and the overwhelming sense of love that surrounded every part of the day.

Congratulations to an incredible couple, and thank you for trusting me to tell your story.
